Today was a great day for new income. Someone bought another $20 worth of perennials. My neighbour paid me $100 for doing all of their planters (9 in total) I think I'll put the $100 against the DH Capital One card. Getting closer!!!

I read a great article on-line about 102 ideas to generate money. I howled at the suggestion of panhandling. My personal fav was to go to drive through restaurants after hours and pick up the dropped change below the service window. If I ever do this you have permission to blast me! That would be a new low. However, I did think of a great idea. I have an abundant garden and this year I split my overgrown perennials and sold $120 worth. Easy, fast, free!

My first goal is to get rid of our Cap1 card. Bal as of April 28, 2009 was $3,162.12. My DH agreed to start brown bagging lunches when he didn't have lunch meetings saving about $11 per day. At the end of the week the money saved is used to pay against the balance. In May we saved $121 in lunch money. Here is the May summary:
Balance to start $3,162.12
Interest $14.77
Less payment of $300.00
Less lunch savings $121.00
New Balance $2,757.89
