Capital One Be Gone!

May 28th, 2009 at 08:11 pm

My first goal is to get rid of our Cap1 card. Bal as of April 28, 2009 was $3,162.12. My DH agreed to start brown bagging lunches when he didn't have lunch meetings saving about $11 per day. At the end of the week the money saved is used to pay against the balance. In May we saved $121 in lunch money. Here is the May summary:

Balance to start $3,162.12
Interest $14.77
Less payment of $300.00
Less lunch savings $121.00
New Balance $2,757.89
