I am a 52 and am working on being fabulous! Downsized from the finance industry in December 2008. Mother of 2 boys, facing an empty nest in 2014. Long term contract employee. Still working on manifesting my passions into income. I have paid off $17,500 in debt since I joined this forum. My last credit card debt was paid off in November 2013.
First day back tomorrow. I have my updated financial goals: paying off Visa and to max out my EF for the second property (see side bar for details). Ready, set, go!
Hey, having income does lead to being able to make those kinds of alterations to goals. Nice going so far! I hope the new job offers some insurance of a positive workplace and maybe even something more permanent if you want it. Good luck!
