CAPITAL ONE DEBT IS GONE!

May it rest in peace. When I started this blog in May 2009 the balance was $3,162.12. We have made our last payment and it's gone. Thanks to everyone for your support and motivation. HAPPY DANCE!

    KellyB I was afraid someone would ask me that. I have a line of credit that would be incredible to pay off but it's so big I can't even imagine how I would do it. I have to think about it. And thanks everyone for the congrats.

    Large balances reminds me of my student loan. Took me two full years and change to pay that off. And all the while, I think it was also some of the loneliest and darkest times of my life. (Maybe two years doesn't sound like much, but it didn't feel like it when I was in the middle of it.)

    But I guess that's also how it drove me on, because I just COULD NOT WAIT get rid of that darn thing. Because I was so tired of feeling hopeless and helpless about it....

    Well, I'm sorry, just rambling. But hopefully, you'll be able to get rid of your other debts soon!

    Way to go! One debt gone leads to more in the future, and that was a biggie. Once all the debt is gone you can start packing those funds into savings, investments, annuities, whatever YOU want to use it on. Nice work...
